English striker James Peate signed a short-term deal during the 2007-08 transfer window. Having impressed the club with his natural ability and deadly eye for goal Peate was offered a new contract. Peate is expected to be one of the clubs leading striker's this season and has done so with a great return, seeing him beat Gareth Harvey's record. Peate scored an impressive 28 goals during he career but left the club in summer 2010 after nearly three years service for the team.
