End of the transfer window update

As we are now in September the transfer window has now closed with very minimal activity from the club. Naik stresses that just because the window has slammed shut it doesn't mean that there will be no futher signings. In fact the opposite is being planned.

We Hate Ben are still talking to striker Aaron Kelly who is widely expected to sign within the next few days.

The club are still tracking Jonny Harman, Gethin Harkin and Ben Griffiths with a view to getting them back on board while Richard Francis is able to buy out his contract at Sons Of Pitches if he so wishes.

On top of that, the mystery defender the club have been close to signing for a while now still looks promising. The deals for Richard Vale, Darren O'Connell and Dan Bentley however, look dead in the water.

There are a few other irons in the fire but we'll see what happens with these players first.
