We Hate Ben won only their second game of the season with what was by far their most assured performance. In a season where We Hate Ben have become an extremely difficult side to beat but somehow managed to lose seven of their nine games, everything came together in a match that took them up two places to seventh. We Hate Ben controlled the match and their dominance paid off when an Inter Abergelide player handled on the line and a penalty was given. The player probably should have been sent off as it was a deliberate handball but the referee showed leniency and captain Gareth Harvey who had made the decision to retire at the end of the season stepped up and comfortably slotted it away scoring his fifth goal of the season. Jack Thomas scored a slightly spectacular but fortuitous long range effort after the goalkeeper couldn't get back in time to tip it away and WHB were looking strong. Inter Abergeldie hit back with a late consolation and set up a nervy end to the match and WHB stood firm.
