Creative but defensively strong midfielder Matt Davies joined the club on a short-term contract until the end of the season. After making his mark last year, he signed a new one-year deal for this season but much is now expected from him. During his first full season Davies played in every match for WHB and was a contender for Player Of The Year before narrowly missing out. Davies did however win an award for his stunning goal against Abergeldie that year. His final season for We Hate Ben saw Davies win the ultimate award for his consistantly good performances, winning the Manager's Player Of The Year 2010-11 award. Davies is one of the most talented players the club has ever had and could be the hardest one to replace.
