ADL 2008/09 League and Cup Announced

We Hate Ben were this evening informed of the new league structure for the 2008/09 Aberystwyth Digs League (ADL). The two leagues will run parallel with each other as normal but have now been rebranded due to new sponsorship. League 1 is now named "Y Don League" and League 2 is called "The Kanes' League".

We Hate Ben have been placed in The Kanes' League with 8 named teams and one which will be announced soon. The team is rumoured to be a side associated with current ADL team UWA Phoenix.

The suprise of the evening was the announcement of the brand new Aberystwyth Town Cup. The tournament one will consist of one preliminary round followed by a first round, second round, semi-final and final. The cup competition will take priority over the ADL League if needed, as the final is scheduled to be played at Park Avenue around March. We Hate Ben were drawn in the preliminary round. The ties are as follows:
