We Hate Ben destroyed a depleted Black Lions side that was beset with injuries from start to finish. The nature of the win however cannot all be attributed to the bad luck of Black Lions but also to some good performances, particually by the likes of Jack Thomas, Chris Townsend and Mike Jones. The friendly gives Naik plenty of hope going into the season especially as the new system he is trying to implement appeared to work well. Sex Panthers are next up in a friendly and a win against them would make Naik's side seem to be one of the favourites next season.
