The SoccerJoos hammered Gigolo Warriors with a confident performance from a team missing seven first-team players. Early on WHB were seen to stamp their authority on the match and stopped almost everything Gigolo attempted to build from midfield, while scoring eight goals. However, there were many chances and the result probably should have been higher, but Naik is pleased with the performance.
Naik has made it known he is particually pleased with the performances of his several of his players and is glad he will have a problem selecting his team for the first match of the season. Matt L'Argent put in a sterling performance at left-back while Alastair England impressed with his two goals. Naik is also glad to see many of his squad players making an impact. This performance should breed confidence in the team for next weekends first match of the season.
