Forward player Dave Turvill joined the club in the summer of 2009. Turvil was brought in as cover up front but he can also play in other attacking roles across the midfield. Turvill, although not a prolific goalscorer was a forward with great link play and vision, and the team seemed to play better with him in the side then without. Turvill has now left the club following a two-year stint after his contract ended.
