Highly-rated midfielder Adam Edgerley has been linked with a move to rivals Sex Panthers. The soon to be twenty-one year-old is expected to be an important player next season but rumours in the press have linked him with a move, possibly to do with the form of Matt Davies at the end of last season. Any offers for Edgerley are likely to be rejected, as WHB have shown already with UWA Phoenix's pursuit of Chris Webster.
In other news, winger Adee Egbeyemi and striker Alastair England have been victims of speculation. The pair who only recently signed new contracts at the club, are rumoured to be unhappy. Alex MacDonald is believed to want to meet them to discuss their futures when the team meets up for pre-season in September.
As for players coming in, the SoccerJoos have been talking to unattached Welsh defensive midfielder Edward Jones and MacDonald is in negotiations with out-of-contract centre-back Sam Holloway.
