We Hate Ben have had a busy November so far, although most of the activity has been off the field rather than on it. The beginning of the month saw Alex MacDonald take a break from management, with former boss James Naik taking charge. Naik was still in charge for the friendly matches against Abergeldie and FC Beaver, it remains to be seen how long for this will continue.

The first competitive match of the season, saw WHB beat ATFC Lions in the Aberystwyth Town Cup First Round, with a excellent 4-0 win.

The match also saw the launch of the We Hate Ben 09/10 team kit, provided by Nike and sponsored by The Cambrian Hotel. There is a picture below, taken during the minute silence for Remembrance Day.



The Aberystwyth Town Cup Second Round draw took place this month, which pitted We Hate Ben against Sons Of Pitches, the longest running and one of the most successful Aberystwyth Digs League teams. They managed to finish runners-up in last years competition and will be looking to go one better this year. The rest of the draw is as follows:

We Hate Ben would also like to apologise for the current fixture postponement problems. the cup match against Sons Of Pitches is scheduled to take place on Sunday 31st January 2010. The next league match (unless an already postponed fixture is rearranged) is against On The Pier on Sunday 16th December 2009.

In other news, the club has played two friendly matches in recent weeks, a 1-1 draw against Abergeldie and a 4-0 win over FC Beaver. However, both matches were abandoned after half-time.

And finally, the club has lost a Physiotherapist after Hollie Thomas decided she wanted to leave the club. Her contract was mutually terminated after she decided she wanted to try other things. The club are looking for a replacement.
