We Hate Ben have sadly announced today that Alex MacDonald has tendered his resignation as Manager of the club. MacDonald had been in charge since June last year and only took charge of one match - last weekend's 15-3 mauling at the hands of Sons Of Pitches.
MacDonald cited footballing reasons as the catalyst for his departure, with the press believing it to be mostly down to the deterioration in the relationship between himself and some players and staff coupled with the performance of the team in the last match.
MacDonald has also agreed a mutual termination of his playing contract, and thus ends a three-year association with the team. On his departure however, he did want to thank the players, staff and fans for their support during his career here, and the club would like to wish him all the best in the future.
Chairman Lee Pemberton has started his search in earnest for a new Manager.
