We Hate Ben owner and chairman Lee Pemberton has declared himself delighted with the way the club are performing in the league this season, as they managed a convincing 6-1 victory over FC Beaver yesterday.
The win was their second in three league games and puts the SoccerJoos into second place in Kanes' League Two. Pemberton, a former player-manager of the team commented on the clubs upturn in fortunes:
"After the disappointing cup loss against Sons of Pitches and the narrow defeat against On The Pier I am delighted with the way the team has reacted with the fantastic victories over fierce rivals Unathletico Madrid and FC Beaver, I really believe the team can mount a serious challenge for the league title or a play-off trophy. A big well done to returning manager James Naik and the rest of the team and good luck for the rest of the season."
