We Hate Ben boss Matt L'argent has revealed his plans for the summer after returning to Wales from South Africa on a scouting mission. L'argent is known to be currently in the market for a two strikers and a pair of wingers for each flank, but is also believed to be willing to take on any players that may add something to the side, or act as cover. The squad currently only has fourteen players after the return of defender Jason Dodsworth, while Adam Smith, Ben Court and James Peate have been offered new deals which they are continuing to mull over.
WHB have been linked to several current ADL players over the summer, including Phoenix's Scott Clarke who played against WHB last year. He has been in talks but is currently weighing up his options over the summer. Two other players L'argent had spoken to both rejected and decided to join Sexual Harassment Pandas, who seem to be signing a few at the moment.
The club have also been interested in a few players from Unatletico Madrid, one of which was left-sided Joey Scutt who was close to a switch earlier this year. ATFC Lions striker Will Newman rejected a chance to switch this summer, deciding to stay on for another year with the side.
We Hate Ben will continue to scour the free agent market and have been in talks with three or four players. L'argent did say that although it has been quiet he is only looking for players that will improve the side, and with a while to go before the end of the transfer market there is nothing to worry about.
