The 20-year-old defender joined the club two years ago and has made ten appearances for the club. Shaw decided to accept the offer in order to play first-team football, despite enjoying playing for the club. Although Shaw said: "It is hard to leave a club that I have very much enjoyed playing for during the last few years and I would like to thank the players, staff and fans for making my time here memorable."
Reports have suggested that Shaw may well decide to stay with his new side after his loan-deal concludes, Shaw commented on the rumours by saying that he "is planning on returning a fitter and better player for next season" but will not "rule anything out, as I don't like to comment on the future and would prefer to just wait and see what happens."
The deal does however enable Shaw to play against his parent club if the occasion does arise. We Hate Ben would like to wish him all the best and hope to have him back next season.
