We Hate Ben manager Matt L'argent has revealed that he plans to make new additions to his squad in the January transfer window.
WHB are yet to play a match this season but after losing former captain Darrell Rees and with other important players currently on the sidelines L'argent feels some new blood is needed to strengthen the squad.
L'argent said: "I'm hoping something will materialise soon. We need to strengthen our squad and add one or two quality players in key positions. I've looked at the squads of other teams in our division and we need to improve ours to mount a challenge for the title. I've had my eye on a few players for a while now but have not been able to act due to the window being shut. The players have made noises about leaving their current clubs and I'm also prepared to look around for any players currently without a club."
L'argent finished: "After losing Rees and the injuries we have I have contacted prospective players about coming here. I enjoy the wheeling and dealing side of the game and we've been working on trying to get a few players in for a while now, so I'll be satisfied if it all comes off."
We Hate Ben are currently scheduled to start their campaign in the Aberystwyth Town Cup against FC Phoenix on January 30th, the day before the transfer window closes.
