Former player-manager Lee Pemberton was the man behind the club when it was formed in 2006. He started playing as a striker before being moved back into defence, at right-back. Playing as a full-back proved to be where his better games came. After winning the Wooden Spoon Play-Off he decided to resign as manager and leave the club to try out other things. He is now with Wake Green AFC, trying to break into the first team.
