Iain Giessler came to We Hate Ben during the preseason of 2007-08 as one of James Naik's signings. Giessler is a very attack-minded midfielder who has also been used as a striker. Giessler is a player with bags of pace but is somewhat lacking in the finishing department to be used predominately as a striker. However when used against a tiring defence Giessler is a fascinating prospect. To improve next season Giessler needs to use toughen up as he was repeatedly fouled by tough-tackling opposition. Giessler left the club in the summer of 2009, looking for a new club in England.
