As we are now approaching the summer the board would like to announce that Manager James Naik has been offered the option of either a new rolling one-year player-manager contract and a manager contract with the target of making the play-offs the aim. James Naik is widely expected to sign within the next few weeks. Assistant Manager Jack Henry has also been offered a new one-year deal to become the clubs Director of Football, a job involving him move upstairs and a new Assistant brought in.
The following players have also been offered new one-year deals:
Ben Court, Jason Dodsworth, Chris Townsend, Jack Thomas, Ross Pope, Iain Giessler, Darrel Rees, Matt Sermon, Adam Roberts, Michael Jones, James Peate, Liam Weaver and Alex MacDonald.
The following players will be released on June 1st, either as they have signed a pre-contract agreement with a new club or as their deals will not be renewed. The club would also like to say thank you and goodbye and good luck in the future to these players:
Mike Adams, John Warren, Jay Harding, Simon Callow, Lewis Wright, Andy Cooper, Rich Cross, Andy Hankin and Jon Nugent.
The club have also lost club captain of two years, Gareth Harvey to retirement and released both Simon Payne and Richard Eveson recently as neither managed an appearance for the club.
The club will have a playing staff of fifteen if all players and player-staff members who have been offered contracts decide to sign them.
