We Hate Ben today were happy to announce that boss James Naik has signed a new one-year deal to stay on as Player-Manager. We Hate Ben can also announce that several players have signed new deals with the club. Goalkeeper Liam Weaver and defenders Chris Townsend, Darrel Rees and Jason Dodsworth, plus midfielders Ross Pope, Jack Thomas, Alex MacDonald and Iain Giessler and strikers James Peate and Michael Jones.
Adam Roberts has rejected his contract in order to look for a club in England. Jack Henry and Matt Sermon are yet to sign new deals.
Another piece of information floating around is that retiring Gareth Harvey may decide to play one more year for the club he loves so dearly. We Hate Ben have yet to hear from him but would welcome him back into the fold in any capacity.
We Hate Ben may also have some end of season friendlies planned and will make a further announcement when more information is available.
