There has been speculation over the last few days as to whether Midfielder Alex MacDonald has actually signed his new one-year deal. MacDonald who joined We Hate Ben in June 2007 was said to have resigned but reports suggest that he has only verbally agreed to sign. MacDonald is believed to be unhappy in the area and wishes to move on.
Secondly We Hate Ben are close on signing Welsh Midfielder Nick Thomas on a one-year contract. Thomas who is without a club can operate on the left of midfield.
