It is today that several players have officially come to the end of their contracts and will now be released. We Hate Ben would like to say goodbye to Mike Adams, John Warren, Jay Harding, Simon Callow, Lewis Wright, Gareth Harvey, Andy Cooper, Rich Cross, Andy Hankin, Adam Roberts and Jon Nugent. We Hate Ben would like to wish you good luck in the future and thank you for your efforts on the pitch.
We Hate Ben have retained the majority of players that contracts were offered to including Jason Dodsworth, Chris Townsend, Jack Thomas, Ross Pope, Iain Giessler, Darrel Rees, Matt Sermon, Mike Jones, James Peate, Liam Weaver and Alex MacDonald. Manager James Naik has signed a new deal as Player-Manager as his rehabilitation continues. Only Adam Roberts has rejected his contract is leaving on a free transfer. Jack Henry was offered a new role but has yet to agree terms while Ben Court may also be offered a non-playing role.
We Hate Ben now have 12 players on one-year contracts and will be looking to sign more players over the coming months.
