Midfielder Adam Edgerley joined the club in September 2008. Edgerley plays a central attacking role in the midfield and has been very useful so far this season. However, competition is now fierce and Edgerley will have keep his performance level high if he is to maintain his starting role next season. Having become an important player for the team, Edgerley will now become vice-captain after Chris Webster's promotion, but is currently out injured with a serious knee problem. Edgerley returned to the team for a few appearances towards the end of the season, with his Consolation Cup appearance a glimpse of the player he had been the previous two years. However, after his contract ended he has now left the club to return to England. A fantastic servant during his time at the club.
