We Hate Ben Manager Alex MacDonald has announced today that club have made their first new signing of the summer. Former SoccerJoo Adam Roberts rejoined the club on a one-year deal after a year away. The winger was offered a new deal last summer after impressing on a short-term deal but decided to join a club in North Wales.
MacDonald had this to say: "It is a great pleasure to have been given the chance to run this proud football club and I hope this new signing is a statement of my intent to improve the club. I am delighted to have signed Roberts as he was a real bright spark when we saw him in his last spell at the club. Although back then he never hugely showed it in games, but the raw ability was wonderful, and I hope I can get the best out of him.
