We Hate Ben are close to completing the signing of Sam Johnson on a one-year deal, after negotiating terms over the last few days.Twenty-one year-old Johnson, has been signed to score goals and will have a tough act to follow in James Peate, the club's record goalscorer of twenty-eight. Peate left the club this summer and fellow Englishman Johnson will be expected to follow in his footsteps. Johnson does come however with a good pedigree and a recommendation from current vice-captain Adam Edgerley.
