We Hate Ben planning raid on free-agent market

We Hate Ben manager Matt L'argent is planning to make several raids on the growing pool of unsigned talent that are available in Aberystwyth. With the news that at least one DIGS side is folding and several others are rumoured to be following suit. We Hate Ben have already signed a player who was clubless due to his club folding and if more decide to fold that leaves many players with DIGS experience without a club. These players who are now available are in addition to the unknown quantities of players who can be found before the season starts, as the DIGS itself runs a trial day for unattached players.

L'argent is believed to be keeping tabs on several ex-DIGS players as well as following the progress of contract talks between a few current DIGS players and their clubs. L'argent is keen to strengthen the side with both experience and youth, and with quality players in each position. L'argent has signed two players and is close to completing a third but is looking to build a strong reliable squad.
