L'argent injury blow

It looks likely that We Hate Ben will play their first competitive match of the season with player manager Matt L'argent forced to watch from the sidelines. L'argent could be ruled out for up to four weeks after x-rays confirmed that he had fractured a toe in his left foot.

The 21-year-old defender, who took over from James Naik at the end of last season, joins long term injury Adam Edgerley on the sidelines.

We Hate Ben were boosted however by the return to fitness of combative midfielder Matt Davies, and there have been negotiations between the club and an un-named defender, with the possibility of a one year deal being agreed.
